Abstract (en)
The crochet galloon machine needle (26) such as floating stitch needle has shank with hook and hook head that transitions into a resilient leg closing a hook inside space. The hook head has hook inside facing toward the hook inside space and hook outside facing away from the shank. The guide projection (40) is formed on the hook outside, while the hook inside is curved in the form of a circular arc around a center. The guide projection is located above a hook center.

Eine erfindungsgemäße Häkelgalonmaschinennadel (26) ist an ihrer Hakenaußenseite (39) mit einem Flottiervorsprung (40) versehen, dessen Spitze (43) vorzugsweise oberhalb der Mittelachse (A) der Nadel (26) angeordnet ist. Diese Nadel (26) weist einen vergrößerten Schussfadenfangbereich auf und eignet sich deshalb insbesondere zur Herstellung dichter Maschenware. Außerdem ermöglicht sie das Arbeiten mit verringerter Abzugsspannung und gegebenenfalls auch mit verringerter Schussfadenspannung. Dies trägt zur Erhöhung der Standzeit aller Systemteile bei.
