Abstract (en)
The device (1) has two cylindrical sectors (5) surrounding a sub-caliber artillery projectile (2), where the sectors are in contact with the sub-caliber artillery projectile by an interior support form (5a). An articulation (6) is provided to each sector, where the articulation materializes an instant rotation axis. The articulation connects a cup (3) to the sectors. A tooth and a notch have geometry such that the tooth pivots an opening of the sectors around the axis without interference with an inclined surface of the notch.

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de lancement (1) pour projectile (2) d'artillerie sous calibré employant un culot (3) à ceinture dérapante (4). Le culot (3) est relié à des secteurs (5) de sabot par le biais d'articulations (6) détachables en vol. L'ouverture des sabots se fait grâce à la pression dynamique de l'air sur les formes évasées (5a) à l'avant des secteurs (5). L'articulation (6) est bridée radialement pour ne pas permettre une désolidarisation des secteurs 5 du sabot 3 hors phase de vol.
