[origin: EP2336983A1] The machine has a coin buffer, a coin intermediate storage and a coin lifting device arranged in a coin passing path between a coin inlet opening and a coin output opening. The coin lifting device has a coin accelerator comprising a coin accelerating lever (11) actuatable by a spring (15) that is prestressable by a motor-driven drive. A switching disk (17) is rotatably driven by the drive and is engaged with the lever for prestressing the spring and for releasing the prestressed spring. A stop (22) limits movement of the lever.
