Abstract (en)
The method involves recording an input signal and determining a sound having fundamental frequency and several harmonic overtones in the input signal. The frequency transposition is performed as per continuous transposition function, in which there is no compression below a knee point frequency and linear compression with compression factor above the knee point frequency. The transposed overtones are shifted to an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency as per the transposition function. An independent claim is included for hearing aid.

Bei einem Hörgerät (1), das die Möglichkeit einer Frequenztransposition bietet, sollen Klänge auch nach der Frequenztransposition noch als Klänge wahrnehmbar sein. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, zunächst im Eingangssignal vorhandene Klänge und insbesondere deren Grundfrequenzen (GF) zu ermitteln und die Frequenztransposition in Abhängigkeit der ermittelten Grundfrequenzen (GF) auszuführen. Transponierte Obertöne werden dabei wieder auf das Frequenz-Raster der Grundfrequenz (GF) gelegt, so dass die Klang-Eigenschaft auch nach der Frequenztransposition erhalten bleibt.
