Abstract (en)
The device has a rotating blade carrier with a cutting knife (2). Side surfaces (7, 8) of the knife are formed adjacent to two cutting edges. One of the side surfaces of the cutting knife includes a coating that improves surface hardness and is made of amorphous bound material. Thickness of the coating is 0.003 mm. The cutting knife is led to the side surfaces of a grinding disk. Speed of the grinding disk is controlled based on speed of the blade carrier. A grinding device is provided with an electric motor, and the grinding disk drives the motor in rotary motion.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schneidvorrichtung (1) zum Schneiden von stabförmigen Produkten der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, mit - wenigstens einem rotierenden Messerträger (14) mit wenigstens einem Schneidmesser (2,3), mit - einer Schnittkante (9,9a,9b) und zwei an die Schnittkante (9,9a,9b) angrenzenden Seitenflächen (7,8), wobei - wenigstens eine der Seitenflächen (7,8) des Schneidmessers (2,3) eine die Oberflächenhärte erhöhende Beschichtung (13) aufweist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Schneidmesser (2,3) für eine Schneidvorrichtung (1), wobei das Schneidmesser (2,3) auswechselbar ist.
