The profile (1.1) has a profile-cavity (5) surrounded by a front wall side (10) and two boundary sides (11, 12) that are parallely aligned and spaced from each other. The cavity is filled with a foamed plastic mass (2). One of the boundary sides forms a contact area for a liner (6) on an upper side, where the liner is made of natural stone tile or ceramic tile. A stop bar (15) is connected with the front wall side. A flexible flanging is made of PVC and fastened at the stop bar by a connected extrusion.

Kantenabschlussprofil (1.1) für Küchenarbeitsplatten und dergleichen, die mit einer Decklage (6) versehen sind. Das Kantenabschlussprofil umfasst eine Profil-Hohlkammer (5), die von einem Stirnwandschenkel (10) und zwei im Wesentlichen gleichgerichteten, parallelen und untereinander beabstandeten Begrenzungsschenkeln (11; 12) eingefasst und mit einem Plattenelement (2) oder einer Isoliermasse ausfüllbar ist, wobei die Begrenzungsschenkel (11; 12) mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) im rechten Winkel abstehend verbunden sind und der oben liegende Begrenzungsschenkel (11) auf seiner Oberseite eine Tragfläche für die Decklage (6) bildet, sowie mit einem Anschlagsteg (15) für die Decklage, der mit dem Stirnwandschenkel (10) verbunden ist.
