[origin: EP2341026A1] The device has a belt adapted to act in a routing surface on a product (S) to be folded to position the product opposite to a folding unit. Displacing units displace each belt with respect to the routing surface between a routing position (Pb) in which the belt exerts a pressure on the product to be folded, and a relaxation position in which the belt exerts another pressure on the product to fold, where the pressures are different from one another. The displacing unit is adapted to alternate the belt between the positions.
