[origin: EP2341183A1] The method involves drying a laundry with accumulation of condensed water in a condensed water tank (12), and cleaning a heat exchanger with the condensed water in a condensed water tank, where the condensed water is circulated through a filter (16) of the condensed water tank and by a condensed water circulation pump (15) that pumps the condensed water towards a cleaning device using water. The condensed water is evacuated by another condensed water draining pump (14). The condensed water pumped towards the cleaning device is stopped. An independent claim is also included for a laundry drying machine.
