[origin: WO2010031653A1] The invention relates to a method for developing an active safety system for an automobile, in particular an anti-lock braking system (ABS), an antiskid device (ARS or TCS), an electronic stability program (ESP) device, a vehicle dynamics management (VDM) device or the like, to an active safety system obtained by said method, and/or to automobiles fitted with such an active safety system. The invention relates to a method for developing an active safety system using a vehicle that comprises at least one wheel provided with a low grip coating (1) advantageously made of a plastic material having a low friction coefficient, preferably of the ethylene polytetrafluoride (PTFE) type or a mixture or alloy of PTFE with other materials. The present invention can particularly be used in the automobile industry, and mainly in the field of active safety systems.
