Abstract (en)
The ski has a contact surface extended between front and rear contact lines (25, 26) such that edges touch a horizontal plane at waist when the ski is flat on the plane. Contact length extends between rear and front end contact points (23, 24) when the ski pivots about a longitudinal axis at a tilt angle i.e. 35 degree, and loaded at the waist such that the edges touch the plane at the waist. A ratio of a distance (Dalpha) separate the front point and the front contact line to a distance (D) separate a mid-point i.e. boarding point, of a shoe and front contact line is greater than 12 percent.

Ski (1) qui: – lorsqu'il est à plat sur un plan horizontal (2), et chargé en son patin de telle sorte que les carres touchent ledit plan horizontal au niveau du patin, présente une ligne de cote s'étendant entre les lignes de contact avant (10) et arrière (11) ; – lorsqu'il est pivoté autour de son axe longitudinal et incliné d'un angle ± non nul par rapport audit plan horizontal (2), et chargé en son patin de telle sorte qu'une des carres (20) touche ledit plan (2) au niveau du patin, présente une ligne de cote s'étendant entre deux points de contact extrême, respectivement avant (24) et arrière (23) ; caractérisé en ce que pour une inclinaison (±) égale à 35°, le ratio de la distance (D±) séparant le point de contact extrême avant (24) et la ligne de contact avant (10), rapportée à la distance (D) séparant le point milieu (9) de la chaussure et la ligne de contact avant (10), est supérieur à 12%.
