Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2343133A1] The method involves applying a water-based hybrid paint (2) for formation of a corrosion protection layer on a metallic carrier element (1) i.e. aluminum substrate. The hybrid paint is pre-dried for achieving a partial cross-link. An absorbent layer (3) is applied as a suspension on pre-dried, partial cross linked paint. The paint and the adsorbent layer are thermally cured. The paint exhibits layer thickness that ranges from 5 to 10 micrometer, and the absorbent layer is made of silica gel and zeolite. The paint is utilized as a hybrid expoxi-or polyurethane paint.
