Abstract (en)
The device i.e. LED illumination device (1), has a rectangular shaped cabinet (2) for receiving a light source (3) that is formed by multiple lamps (4). The lamps include a light unit (5) i.e. LED. The light unit is arranged on a carrier element, and is supplied with electrical power by a ballast. The lamps are formed as a gutter-shaped reflector (7) that comprises a u-shaped cross-section and a base surface, which is broken from a recess for depressing the light unit. The cabinet is formed of a well thermal conductive material i.e. metal. The light unit is arranged on focal axes.

Die Erfindung geht von einer Vorrichtung zur Beleuchtung eines Verkehrsweges aus, wobei die Vorrichtung ein Gehäuse (2) zur Aufnahme mindestens einer Lichtquelle (3) umfasst, wobei die Lichtquelle (3) durch einen oder mehrere Leuchtkörper (4) gebildet ist und jeder Leuchtkörper (4) mindestens ein Leuchtmittel (5), vorzugsweise eine lichtemittierende Leuchtdiode (LED) aufweist, wobei das Leuchtmittel (5) auf einem Trägerelement (6) angeordnet ist und mittels einem Vorschaltgerät mit elektrischer Energie versorgt ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Leuchtkörper (4) als rinnenförmiger Reflektor (7) ausgebildet.
