[origin: EP2343486A1] An air conditioner that can start in a short time after power recovery and can maintain an optimal refrigerating cycle in a short time is provided. An air conditioner 100 according to the present invention has a main refrigerant circuit in which a compressor 1, a heat-source-side heat exchanger 3, a high-pressure-side of a supercooling heat exchanger 4, a first throttle mechanism 5, and a use-side heat exchanger 6 are connected in series and a bypass circuit branching between the supercooling heat exchanger 4 and the first throttle mechanism 5 and connected to a suction side of the compressor 1 through the second throttle mechanism 8 and a low-pressure side of the supercooling heat exchanger 4, and a control portion 50 that compares the number of outages of this air conditioner 100 with a predetermined specified number of times determined in advance and determines necessity of initialization of the first throttle mechanism 5 and the second throttle mechanism 8 after power recovery.
