[origin: WO2010054981A2] The present invention relates to means for treating keratin fibers that contain, in a cosmetic carrier, a dying matting combination, which comprises at least one coloring component and is suitable for balancing yellowish and/or reddish color impressions remaining in the fiber in the lightening of the keratin fibers by a corresponding complementary dying, and at least one cationic pyridinium derivative. The invention further relates to such means for gently dying human hair blond, additionally containing at least one oxidant preparation and possibly a bleaching power enhancer preparation, to a method for the application thereof, and to the use of the means as gentle bleaching agents. Using the means according to the invention, it is also possible to avoid undesirable color shifts in yellowish and reddish nuances when dying hair blond.
