[origin: WO2010072426A1] A cleaning attachment, in particular for a vacuum cleaner, comprises a housing (3), a connection (18) for a suction tube, a suction opening (6) for ambient air, a plasma generator (2) arranged in the housing (3, 63) for generating plasma, and at least one cleaning opening (10, 14) or a channel on which a mixture of plasma and air impinges on a surface (11) to be cleaned before the mixture is suctioned off into the housing (3) and through the connection (18). Thus the cleaning attachment can treat the air and impurities in a disinfecting and odor-neutralizing manner.
