Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010034429A2] The invention relates to a method and an assembly for the safe transfer of personnel from an object such as a ship to another object. According to said method for the safe transfer of personnel from an object such as a ship (S) to another object, wherein the ship (S) is moved by the motion of the waves, in particular in a vertical direction, in relation to the other object, a personnel transfer element, which is located on one of the two objects and which, at least at one end, can be moved at least vertically, is coupled to the other object. At least the end of the personnel transfer element is thus moved relative to one object and with the other object as a result of the relative movement of the objects. According to the invention, the personnel transfer element is moved by means of the other coupled object in relation to the latter and relative to the first object and can move vertically as a result of the relative movement of the objects.
