[origin: WO2010025902A1] The invention relates to a cutting head for a razor, comprising at least one upper blade (1) and a lower blade (7) associated with said upper blade. The upper blade (1) and lower blade (7) are mounted so as to be movable relative to each other and can be driven accordingly by a drive device. The upper blade (1) comprises a contact surface (4) for the skin to be shaved, said surface being formed by a plurality of webs (5), which are each bounded by slots (6). The longitudinal extension of the webs (5) runs substantially perpendicular to a threading edge (12) bounding the contact surface (4). The contact surface (4) is designed concave and ascends toward the threading edge (12).
