Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011035931A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for the generative production of a three-dimensional object (3), wherein a powdered material (11) is applied in layers onto a substrate (5) of the device or onto a previously applied layer, and the powdered material (11) is solidified at locations by radiation (8') containing energy, said locations corresponding to the object (3). The powdered material (11) is solidified such that a digital marking, which can be read by a machine and which is coded three-dimensionally, is provided on a surface of the object (3).
