[origin: WO2010049335A1] The invention relates to a device (64) and to a method for processing semifinished bag products (24) and a gluing station (3, 4) for semifinished bag products. Experience has shown that in particular more complicated semifinished bag products - such as hose pieces having folded open bottom squares and here in particular having folded open bottom squares and already inserted valve slips - tend to be incompletely glued or even to become damaged in a nozzle gap during gluing. Said problem is solved in that at least one feed element (33) is provided that is mounted upstream of the gluing gap in the transport direction of the semifinished bag products and that together with the guide element (33) defines a feed area (41) of the semifinished bag products to the applicator head, wherein at least components of the semifinished bag products can be guided through the feed area, and wherein the feed area tapers in the transport direction (Z) of the semifinished bag products.
