[origin: EP2189630A1] The gas turbine has a set of hollow cone-shaped or hollow cylindrical components e.g. vane support (16), arranged coaxially inside one another. One of the components includes elliptical-shaped cross-sectional surface in an idle state. Lengths of major and minor axes of the elliptical-shaped cross-sectional surface are selected in such a manner that the component includes a circular cross-sectional surface by thermal deformation in an operating state. The component includes an upper segment (24) and a lower segment (26).
