[origin: EP2347874A1] The method involves feeding a stream of different sized wooden particles in a mixing device (2), and applying adhesive on the wooden particles, where the amount of adhesive is adjusted according to the size of the wooden particles. The adhesive coated particles are mixed with each other, and a stream of the adhesive coated particles is discharged from the mixing device. The wooden particles are conveyed from a particle introduction device (8) to a particle discharge device (12) along a conveying path, where the amount of adhesive applied in the mixing device varies along the conveying path. The particle has density of about 100 to 800 kg per cubic-millimeter. An independent claim is also included for a device for mixing a different sized wooden particle mixture with an adhesive.
