Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2347899A1] The machine (10) has a cutting device (11) for separation of a printed product i.e. newspaper, from a printing material web (13). A conveyor (17) transports the transversely folded printed product to another cutting device (18). The latter cutting device consists of a cutting cylinder (19) with knife bars and a cutting strip cylinder (20) with a cutting strip. The latter cutting device has a drive independent of the machine. A suction device for discharge of sections is arranged at the latter cutting device. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a printed product i.e. newspaper.
