Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2348182A2] The gate has a door leaf including multiple mutually pivotable sections. Two sensors (9) are associated to a driving device. An inverted U-shaped lower end strip (7) comprises two longitudinal edges (7') spaced apart from each other. The sensors are attached in a region of the longitudinal edges. A sealing element (14) i.e. elastic sealing lip, is arranged between the sensors. A contact strip (10) is provided in the sensors, and includes metal wires accommodated in an elastic profile. A groove (11) is formed at two projecting arm ends for fixing each sensor. The contact strip is provided with a linear cavity i.e. hollow rubber profile, and a closure element is provided with an optical transmitter i.e. infrared LED (IR LED), at one end of the rubber profile.
