[origin: EP2348363A1] A photocurable liquid developer comprising colored resin particles and an electrically insulating liquid that cures by light, wherein the electrically insulating liquid contains an unsaturated group-containing silicone compound represented by General Formula (1) below, where R independently denotes a methyl group or a phenyl group, 1 and m each independently denote an integer of 0 to 100, and X 1 , X 2 and X 3 each independently denote a C1-C6 alkyl group or Substituent A below, with at least one of X 1 , X 2 and X 3 being Substituent A, where R denotes a methyl group or a phenyl group, and n denotes an integer of 2 or 3.
