[origin: WO2010060642A2] The invention relates to a device for transferring a transport car (20) which can be displaced on a track system (12) from a first track section (14) of the track system (12) that is arranged on a first level, to a second track section (16) of the track system (12) that is arranged on a second level different from the first level. The device (34; 1034; 2034; 3034) comprises at least one first and one second transfer carriage (42; 1042; 2042; 3042; 60; 1060; 2060; 3060) which can carry at least one respective transport car (20) to be transferred and which can be displaced in opposite directions on two different levels. The invention further relates to a conveyor system for transporting articles, comprising said transfer device (34; 1034; 2034; 3034).
