[origin: WO2010057536A1] The invention relates to a handle for opening and closing a door such as one for an isothermal box. The handle includes a fixed base (1), an arm (4) mounted on the base and capable of pivoting between an open position and a closed position of the door, and a hook mounted on the arm so as to pivot between a closed position of the handle, in which it is engaged behind a fixed retaining member, and an open position of the handle. The handle is characterised in that the pivoting arm (3) includes a handle body (4) having a shaped defined so that the mechanical efforts applied on the handle are distributed on the entire surface of the body (4). The invention can be used for isothermal trucks.
