[origin: WO2010029268A1] The invention relates to a finite element model modeling a geometric entity that is produced by a computer in the following manner: at least one property datum (208) and at least one positioning identifier (206) are acquired through a computer interface so as to store the same in a computer memory. The positioning identifier makes it possible to identify a position of the property datum (208) on the geometric entity (200). A correlation is established between the positioning identifier (206) and at least one element of the finite element model (204). The property datum (208) is preferably attached to the element of the finite element model (204) for which a correlation with the positioning identifier (206) of the property datum (208) has been established.
