[origin: WO2010037969A1] In order to aid the selection of a data stream, to be restored at the level of a reception device, from among a plurality of data streams received by the reception device, at the level of a processing unit, a plurality of data streams are received simultaneously, together with auxiliary data respectively associated with said data streams. Next, on the basis of the auxiliary data received, at least one item of information for aiding selection to be displayed for each data stream is determined. Thereafter, the data streams are coupled with the respectively determined information for aiding selection. These coupled data streams are then transmitted to the reception device.
