The base (10) has a rectangular shaped rotating base frame (11) comprising a top base element and a foot side. The foot side comprises a foot-side aperture (13) that is formed in diagonally directed wall surfaces (14-17). Side walls are formed from longitudinal sections (18-21) to a rectangular contour, and the corner regions are provided with the longitudinal sections by corner connectors (40, 42) in the wall surfaces. The corner regions are arranged against the corner connectors. The base frame is formed by plug connections from the longitudinal sections and the corner connectors.

Ein Aufsatzsockel (10), insbesondere für Dachöffnungen, z. B. für Rauch- und Wärmeabzugsanlagen, mit einem quadratischen bis rechteckigen umlaufenden Sockelrahmen (11), der oberseitig eine kleinere Öffnung (12) als fußseitig aufweist und von der fußseitigen Öffnung (13) ausgehend zur oberseitigen Öffnung (12) hin konisch verläuft mit schräg gerichteten Wandflächen (14 bis 17). Die Seitenwände sind aus einzelnen geradlinig verlaufenden Längsprofilen (18 bis 21) quadratischer bis rechteckiger Kontur gebildet. In den Eckbereichen sind Eckverbinder (40 bis 43) vorgesehen. Die Längsprofile (18 bis 21) sind mittels der Eckverbinder (40 bis 43) zumindest im Bereich der schräg gerichteten Wandflächen (14 bis 17), mit denen sie an den Eckverbindern (40 bis 43) schräg anliegen, lösbar verbindbar.
