Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2352142A2] The device has a receiving device (10) detecting arising noise, and a signal generation unit (8) producing a signal based on the detected noise. A loudspeaker (7) produces discharge sound waves by using the signal, where the discharge sound waves are phase-shifted against sound waves of the arising noise. The loudspeaker is arranged in a vehicle interior such that the discharge sound waves are radiated into a region of a sleeping area (11). The receiving device and the loudspeaker are integrated into a microphone loudspeaker unit.
