Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010063130A1] A securing apparatus is provided, which in addition to a duplex plug comprises a clip for forming a duplex plug from two simplex plugs and a removable actuating protector (21). Said protector has a dimensionally rigid covering section (21.1) and covers the trigger (13.1) toward the proximal side. The actuating protector additionally has a guide section (21.2), which for fastening purposes protrudes through an opening in the trigger toward the distal side of the duplex plug. Due to the covering section and/or the guide section blocking a movement of the trigger, the trigger cannot be actuated without tools. The guide section is blocked by a detent mechanism, thereby preventing removal of the actuating protector (21). In order to release the detent mechanism, an unlocking tool (22) having a characteristic actuating section must be inserted in the actuating protector. The unlocking tool is preferably characteristically shaped, matched to the opening in the actuating protector with respect to the dimensioning thereof, and is likewise part of the securing apparatus. In principle, as an alternative, it would also be conceivable to design the actuator protection such that a commercially available tool can be used, such as a paper clip.
