[origin: WO2010034920A1] The invention relates to a method for determining the topology of virtual networks, said method comprising the following steps implemented by a physical node, physical nodes being connected by a physical network and being adapted for supporting virtual nodes of the virtual networks: determining (10) the parameters of resources defining a physical configuration of the physical network and a physical configuration particular to the physical node, and determining (12) the parameters of requests defining service requests related to the virtual networks. The method further comprises, in the event of a modification of at least one parameter belonging to the group comprising resource parameters and request parameters between a current instant and an instant preceding the broadcast (16) of at least the modified parameters in the physical network, updating (18) the resource and request parameters based on the modified parameters, and determining (20) topologies for the virtual networks using said updated parameters.
