Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2353410A2] The unit (13) has a vertically running viewing track (18) for forming a viewing chamber (17) with an inlet (19) for a product stream to be viewed. A supply device (24) supplies airflow into the chamber. The chamber is divided over its width (B) into two segments transverse to the viewing track, where the airflow has different flow rates in the respective segments within the chamber. The chamber is limited at an input side by a part (27) i.e. perforated plate, and extends over the whole width of the chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for viewing a product stream within a distributor device for loading a cigarette strand machine.
