Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2353418A1] The shoe i.e. cross-country ski shoe (21), has a flexible cover (38) surrounding user ankle, and defining an upper end (28) of the shoe. A gripping component (48) is provided with a strap and connected to the cover at level of the upper end from a side of a rear end i.e. shoe heel (24). An inextensible stiffener (50) connects the rear end to the component. A rear support element (41) has a strip (42) extended from a lateral side (26) to a middle side by bordering the cover. The stiffener has a distribution tongue (51) made of plastic material, and interposed between the strip and the cover.
