Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2353673A1] The binding has a locking mechanism e.g. locking lever (48) and lock control element (58), for locking a clamping bracket (18a) such that a ski boot (60) is pivoted. The lock control element is operated during pivoting movement of the boot into a swivel position, so that the mechanism latches the clamping bracket. A binding operation lever (37) operates the binding, where the binding operation lever and bearing elements i.e. journals (35a, 35b), are movement-coupled with one another. The locking mechanism comprises a blocking portion (54) attached at an arm of the lever.
