Abstract (en)

The method involves clamping the workpiece parallel to a machine longitudinal axis (Lx). The workpiece is formed by radial pressing of a roller and relative movements of roller and workpiece. The rotational axis of the roller is inclined opposite to the direction of the machine longitudinal axis around a predetermined angle. An independent claim is also included for a device for forming a workpiece.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Umformen eines Werkstücks wird das Werkstück (Ws) parallel zu einer Maschinenlängsachse (Lx) aufgespannt. Das Werkstück (Ws) wird durch radiales Andrücken von wenigstens einer Drückwalze (U1) und relatives Bewegen von Drückwalze (U1) und Werkstück (Ws) umgeformt. Die Drehachse (L1) der wenigstens einen Drückwalze (U1) ist gegenüber der Richtung der Maschinenlängsachse (Lx) um einen vorgegebenen Winkel geneigt.
