[origin: EP2353991A2] The vehicle has an effort limiter (8) permitting displacement of a movable hydrofoil (6) towards a withdrawn position when effort (F1) greater than a predetermined limit is subjected by the hydrofoil, while biasing the hydrofoil towards a nominal position with force that is equal to the predetermined limit and less than two times the limit. The hydrofoil applies effort that is greater than average supporting effort required for supporting the structure, to a bearing structure (2) when the vehicle is displaced on water, where the predetermined limit is greater than the supporting effort.
