[origin: EP2354342A1] The plant has a sewage manhole (1) for receiving a barrier material collector (2) and a liquid collector (3) that is formed as a partial component on a bottom side of the sewage manhole. The manhole is filled with prefiltered sewage up to a given maximum fluid level (S) by defining the liquid collector. A pump (4) is fully or partly arranged in a pump sump of the sewage manhole, where the pump is designed as a submerged or a centrifugal pump. The sewage manhole is implemented as an existing and/or prefabricated cavity with bricked walls and/or walls made of plastic or steel.
