Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2354464A2] A system (30') for forming a seal slot in a shroud assembly has a first element (32') having a longitudinally extending slot (36') and a second element (34') having a longitudinally extending slot (38') for receiving a portion of the first element (32'). The first element (32') has a pair of opposed surfaces and the second element (34') has a pair of opposed surfaces which are oriented at an angle to the surfaces of the first element (32'). The second element (32') may have a planar portion (134') and a curved portion (42') adjacent the planar portion (134') for forming a slot which allows a flow of fluid to exit the slot at a desired angle.
