Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2354755A1] The device (4) has an elastic unit (11) i.e. spring, ensuring the deployment of control surfaces (2a, 2c), where expansion of the elastic unit generates a push stress directed along an axis of the projectile. A releasable locking unit (13) maintains the elastic unit in a compressed position, where the locking unit is constituted by a substantially cylindrical ferrule that separates a push plate (12) of toothed slides e.g. racks, when the elastic unit is compressed. Another releasable locking unit holds the control surfaces in a retracted position.
