Abstract (en)
The object (1) has a week cylinder (3) and a date cylinder (4) for holding indications e.g. days of week and dates of month, and a reading zone (9) for reading the indications, where the cylinders are remote from the reading zone. A bent image guide (7) optically transports the image of corresponding indication in multiple relative positions determined between the cylinders and the image guide until the reading zone. The image guide is formed of optical fibers that are parallel and joined to each other.

Un objet portatif (1) comprenant au moins un organe d'affichage mécanique (3, 4) portant des indications et au moins une zone (8, 9) de lecture de ces indications, est caractérisé en ce que l'organe d'affichage mécanique (3, 4) est distant de la zone de lecture (8, 9) et en ce que l'objet portatif (1) comprend en outre au moins un guide d'image (6, 7) agencé pour acheminer optiquement, dans chacune de plusieurs positions relatives déterminées entre l'organe d'affichage mécanique et le guide d'image, une image d'au moins une indication correspondante jusque dans la zone de lecture (8, 9).
