Abstract (en)
The coin identification device (1) has a remanence sensor for detecting a magnetic remanence of a coin. The remanence sensor is arranged at a coin transport route along which the coin is transportable with a predetermined transport speed. A magnetizing device is arranged on the coin transport route before the remanence sensor for biasing the coin. The remanence sensor is an anisotropic magneto resistive sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatic counting, sorting and checking of the authenticity of various coins.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Münzerkennungsvorrichtung (1) sowie ein Verfahren zum automatischen Zählen, Sortieren und/oder Prüfen der Echtheit verschiedener ferromagnetischer Münzen (12). Um die Münzen (12) besser und schneller prüfen zu können, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass ein Remanenzsignal einer Münze (12) erfasst wird.
