Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010066604A1] The invention relates to a bridge crane or gantry crane for transferring standard cargo holders, especially ISO containers in port zones, comprising a crab which can be moved along a crane carrier in the direction of travel of the crab and on which a rigid mast is guided that extends in a raising and lowering direction. Said mast can be moved in the raising and lowering direction using at least one lifting gear and cables, said lifting gear being disposed on the crab. A load accepting means for standard cargo holders is fastened to the lower end of the mast. The mast (14) is suspended on the crab (13) so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis (D) extending in the longitudinal direction of the mast (14). A lifting frame (22) which supports the at least one lifting gear (23) is suspended on the crab (13) by means of a revolving arrangement (16) that essentially consists of a revolving tube (16a) having an upper end (16c) and a lower end (16d). The upper end (16c) of the revolving tube (16a) rests against the crab (13) using a revolving joint (16b), while the lifting frame (22) is mounted on the lower end (16d) of the revolving tube (16a). The mast (14) is guided such that the same can be raised and lowered within the revolving tube (16a), coaxially thereto.
