[origin: WO2010054850A1] The invention relates to an artificial surfing facility for creating a standing wave, with an inclined ramp (50), to the upper end of which water is transported by means of at least one pump (45) and the lower end (52) of which opens out into a pool (30). A standing wave (60) is achieved in a simple manner by at least one adjustable deflecting device (54) being arranged as a wave producer in the pool (30) at a distance (L55) from the lower end of the ramp (50) in the direction of flow.
