[origin: WO2010058135A1] The invention relates to a method for simulating shooting using a simulation weapon (10) aimed at a target during combat training simulation. The invention uses a shooting simulator (20, 30) which can emit successive shot-simulating laser beams according to a combination of unidirectional and bidirectional communication protocols. Said emission is determined by the type of weapon being simulated. In this way, all combattants (11, 12, 13, 14) in a simulated shot impact area (18) can detect the shot and may or may not feel the effects thereof.
