Abstract (en)
The mattress has a floating material covered on one of the faces of a coating. The coating comprises a water evacuation zone (2) provided with holes formed to facilitate evacuation of water outside the mattress. The holes of the water evacuation zone are formed between the floating material and the coating. The water evacuation zone occupies 5 to 35 percent of a surface of the mattress. The floating material is expanded polyethylene. The water evacuation zone is arranged on a side opposite to a head portion (12). The coating is made of fabric or plastic material. The coating is selected from materials such as polyester or polyamide. An independent claim is also included for a method for folding a floating mattress.

La présente invention concerne un matelas flottant comprenant un matériau flottant (11) recouvert sur au moins une face d'un revêtement caractérisé par le fait que ledit revêtement comprend une zone d'évacuation d'eau (2) comportant des orifices agencés pour faciliter l'évacuation de l'eau hors du matelas située entre le matériau flottant (11) et le revêtement. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de pliage du matelas selon l'invention. La présente invention trouvera son application dans le domaine des accessoires pour la natation et plus particulièrement des matelas flottants non pneumatiques pour le divertissement dans l'eau et possédant un séchage rapide.
