Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102007009923A1] The condenser (1) has a coarse tubing rib block (2) including horizontally running pipes and an undercooling section (P6) that is arranged above condensing sections (P1-P5). An accumulator (5) is arranged parallel to a manifold and is in refrigerant-connection with the section (P5) via an overflow hole. The accumulator is in refrigerant-connection with an undercooling section (P6) via another overflow hole. A downpipe communicates with the former overflow hole at an inlet side via an inflow chamber arranged in the accumulator.
