[origin: CA2701206A1] The invention relates to a machine which can be used for producing spheres from scrap metal and, after a changeover, for comminuting such scrap. Such machines, which by a simple changeover can perform the function of one or the other machine type, are not known. Admittedly, comminution machines for cleaning and maintenance purposes frequently are equipped with a two-part machine frame, the one part of which is permanently connected to the foundation and the other part of which is connected to the first by hinges and a closure device and be pivoted away from the first machine part. It is the object of the invention to refine such a machine such that a replacement of worn components is facilitated and a changeover from one intended purpose to another can be easily performed in a time-saving manner. For this purpose, according to the invention the entire rotor block, including the rotor bearing blocks and punch, is mounted on a pivoting arm, which can be folded out of the machine frame such that the interior of the machine is freely accessible.
