[origin: WO2010058367A1] The invention relates to a display mechanism of a watch, the movement of which drives a cannon-pinion (10) with an indicator (1) attached to the free end thereof. Said member performs one turn per hour above a dial (2) provided with twelve or twenty-four markings (5) indicating the hours in a circular arrangement. Said markings (5) are each connected to an isolated pinion (20) driven simultaneously with one of the adjacent pinions (20') thereof. Said drive is performed by a gear with a toothed sector (30) in which the pitch diameter is equal to half the number of markings multiplied by the pitch diameter of said pinion (20). The toothed sector is rotated, after each turn of the indicator member (1), by an angular value equal to one turn divided by the number of markings (5), around said cannon-pinion (10) by control means (40) which are driven in turn by the rotation of said cannon-pinion.
