[origin: WO2010076406A1] The invention relates to a communication device for wireless communication networks having one or more frequencies. The device comprises a control module (23) for the transmission of repetitive messages (45, 55) to reception devices having at least two reception frequencies (Fl, F2, F3), at least one reception frequency being common with the transmission frequency (F2) of the repetitive messages. Upon reception of the repetitive messages, a polling module (5) changes the reception frequency according to at least one polling period (TS). At least one predetermined transmission period (TE) has a value different from the said polling periods. The communication system comprises a device for transmitting and receiving the repetitive messages. The method processes the transmission and the reception of the repetitive messages in a multi-frequency network.
